Learn how to make mono-types with me on this all day workshop. The most painterly of printing techniques, each piece created is unique, as the plate changes every time a print is pulled. BOOKING IS NOW CLOSED FOR THIS WORKSHOP.
We will work into these prints, both wet and dry, to produce artworks which
involve printing, drawing and painting. I will introduce you to my favourite texture paste
and concentrated liquid watercolours. Try out texture paste, gesso and a selection
of water-based media and pigment to create dramatic abstract landscapes.
You will also learn how to make your own texture medium, to use in your
mixed media paintings – developing an experimental approach to your image,
using photographs, memory and pure manipulation of the materials.
